Hello All: Here is a link to the definitive CD care and handling guide written by Fred Byers who works for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dr. Disc himself, some very good points and some indepth technical things also. http://www.clir.org/pubs/repor ts/pub121/pub121.pdf Lets see them last as long as VINYL!! Best to download to your computer a very long 49 page Adobe format file. |

To think when they introduced cds they said they would last for ever!! Still playing vinyl albums 35-40 years on which sound brand new with a bit of a clean-up! |
