Anyone heard of Furman & Johnson? The only way I know about them is from an excellent cut off one of the "45 Kings-Fat & Funky" compilations (part 2). The track they do is called "Slow & Funky". I can't find a damn thing about them anywhere. No label, no date , zilch.
The compilation says that all these cuts are from '73 to '77, which is rather obvious.
Their sound is kinda like the O'Jays, around the time they did "When The World Is At Peace"....so anyone know anything more about the organization known as "Furman & Johnson"?

"Slow And Funky" was issued on Pickwick PDJ6507 in 1975 - I think the other side was "Feels Good". F&J were David Feuerman and Melbern Johnson.
