Hi all,
Just looking for a little help. The song by the Temptations - You're My Everything has been stuck in my head for weeks now. I was wondering if any had the bass line for it. I have started working it out, but I am just off somehow. Can't get it to work.
Keep the bass line strong and your heart in the song
Robert

Me again, I know there are more important soulful acts going on out there, but if someone could even lead me to a book I would be greatful. This song has touched me deeply as of late and I am compelled to work on it, with my bass. I guess that is why we call it Soul music, this has truly touch my soul.
Keep the bass line strong and your heart in the song,
God Bless You All
Robert

Hey Robert,
Bassland (Bob Lee) was working on a book of Jamerson transcriptions that were not covered in SITSOM. You might want to check out his site or drop him a line.

Once you hear it real good, it sounds like it can be picked up with the ears, even the sixteenth notes. I think it sounds harder than it actually may be at first listen. Just my own opinion. Peace.

I am just trying to figure it out now from the new CD set, I listened to it alot on vacation while stuck in traffic. I have alsways heard the bass line in everything I listen to, but some just stick out more than others to me. You're My Everything has always hooked me, as I tried to sing it, my wife would complain that I was way off, until we both realized I was vocalizing the bass line. I have a hard time singing my BGV parts and playing bass because of that fact. Oh well, I am working on it, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Keep the bass line strong and your heart in the song.
Robert
