Jerome 'Bigfoot' Brailey seems to be quite busy lately... I recently posted about his role within the return of the UNIFICS... Now he just sent me this email : <Yo...just got back from Detroit !! ( was there the night the Piston's kicked the Lakers ass!!). Produced & played drums on the remake of "Tear The Roof Off" (We Want The Crunch) for the New Church's Chicken promo. We even did a Latin version that they're thinking of releasing. Armen (Westbound) had some Latin chicks for vocals,with help from Grady Thomas (Fuzzy,Ray Davis,Calvin Simon,and Grady akaOriginal P*)did the vocals on the "Crunch" track. The bass player was Tony Green (Deathrow Records, Snoop,Dre,Warren G) all other musicians were from Detroit. Now the guy's from SanAntonio,Tx.(promo guy's Church's) want me to produce a latin version of "Give Up The Funk" (Crunch!!) Peace, Jromeo* < And another project he tells me he is likely to be involved with is Leah McCRAE, George's daughter who is currently in the Netherlands and preparing for a solo album. She is shopping for songs and Jerome got a call for that matter as well as producing... Things are yet in the early stages but he was kind enough to share with me a couple of pics. I am posting one here... If Leah has half the pipes of her father (and I trust her mother Gwen) and considering her good looks, I can see a promising future, providing she doesn't drown in the current muzak mainstream... who knows... this could be a good surprise... Wow! She looks great. George still sounds good as I saw him on a PBS special hosted by Patti. I guess this girl's mother IS Gwen. Gwen has a fabulous voice. | ||

Well in his mail Jerome didn't mention the mother(only her father) that's why I was cautious mentioning her possible bloodline on her mother's side (LOL) but she sure looks gooood! hahaha I will stop here before the Kabongwomen are on my trail... as James Brown would sing : I don't want that mess... don't want no trash... heeeeeeeeeyyyy owwwwww! It's amazing what parent's will buy their children in order to suceed in the music biz these days!It used to be a vocal coach and a agent were enough,but now I see there are at least 2 new requirments!LOL Not that I'm complaining!!
