Today's lunch was bass singers time and it was a laugh! I played parts of songs that had Melvin Franklin, Blue Lovett, some older Gospel groups (The Fairfield Four and Dixie Hummingbirds have some mighty bass singers)and Barry White. Students had to try and get as low as the respective bass and one girl made us all laugh as she tried to do Barry White's parts on the Quincy Jones CD.

We have no basses at my school but next week, we may have some tenors.

Hey what's up Satipe!!!

It sounds like it must have been a lot of fun! I wish that I could have heard that lady doing the Barry White thing. I'm glad to see that your students are receptive to your approach.

All that I can add is keep up the good work :-)

That's a wonderful approach. Try some Take 6 maybe even some P-Funk if you can (Tear the roof off the Sucker).
