Am I the only one that thinks this song was silky smooth? the music on it was great,exspecially Jamerson's bassline.I find myself listening too this song nonstop,such a smooth groove.

There was a single version planned for release of it on Motown in 66 - by a certain Christine Schumacher who won the chance to record it as a competition prize. Lawrence Horn is listed as producer while HDH did the original version by the Sups.
It was issued as a promo only, not surprising because the vocal ain't too hot.
Sounds like the same track with the Sups singing bckups.
Unfortunately it only made the album "....sings Holland Dozier Holland",not even a bside.
