I have spent five great years as the Vibrations axeman and MD and the guys were my "professors of the college of the road"

Very sad to read this news. Condolences to James' family.
Hopefully the recent Shout CD of the Vibrations' Checker material will have prompted some interest in their music.
Don't know if Eli was able to let James and the guys know that their heritage is not forgotten? |

I am in touch with Carl Fisher and we plkan to compose some more songs , as he is one of the great unsung songwroters. |
