I'll believe it when I see it. She was supposed to be hear for the Queen's Jubilee and overcoming a phobia of Royalists I appled for a ticket. I didn't get one and Aretha did not appear.

From what I understand, Aretha is taking her regular bus to both California and Vegas. She had legal business near that part of the country, and decided to continue on out West. Supposedly, the LA dates are close to being sold out.

As far as her getting to England, as others said, I'll believe it when I see it. I wish her luck, but she makes these sort of announcements every year. From what I understand, she's not too keen on sailing, either.

I love Aretha, I can't blame her but I'am glad she's overcome her fear of flying. She may have been critized, alot of artist are. If she would've been the biggest star in the UK since the Beatles, Rolling Stones, James Brown, Otis Redding or even Elvis Presley, etc.

I think it;s about time she will be coming to the UK. I know she must be listening to alot of the folks there opinions about their favorite songs they love to hear. I do think there is nothing wrong with mid tempo songs, but more important enough there is nothing wrong with listening to ballads sometimes. It's cool to listen to ballad/torch songs to cool out to. Up tempos can wear vocalist vocal chords out, being gung ho on uptempo is great and all but everyone should check out her prowness and her delivery- straight up!

That's why she is truly The Queen Of Soul.
