Here is a topic that was hit upon , for a moment yesterday so I decided to start a thread on the subject.
Ritchie, I know that you have some so I will let you put in the ones that you sent me.
Also, there is a version of Sideshow in SWEDISH, complete with the circus barker intro.
It is by Lene Erikson, on Polydor.

John, I guess we'll have to work out the non-English titles...

Tu As Perdu le Garcon le Plus Doux
Lors Ce Que Je Sais Qu'il Est Le Mien
La Poquais Hoquais
Ma Coeur Est Folle

Chateaux Dans Le Sable

Jimmy Manteau
Je Suis Prete Pour L'amour

How about Pancho Poncho for Jimmy Mack?

Ritchie..sorry it's not a literal translation.

For example.....Cal sings the most marvelous boy in the world to "As Long As I Know He's Mine"

and I can see you are showing off too!!!

but for you and you alone....Le plus marveilleux garcon du monde

and also for you Mr Clever Clogs, tell me what "My Cherie Amour" is in Italian and then in Spanish.

John

I know they weren't literal translations - thank heaven.... I just wanted to tease you! (For a change)

Wenn es regnet
Seh ich Sonnenschein

- I'm sure Smokey would have approved.

Better than a certain English song I could quote

Oh du
Bist so schoen
Schoen wie ein Diamand....
Oh Komm
Komm zu mir
Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand

(Die Beatles)

As for Italian, you'd better ask Ralph. No parliamo Italiano.. (or something like that)

and hablo solamente poco Espanol!

Dennis was smart to cut instrumentals -- "Scorpio" sounds the same in any language!
