Hello out there!!!

DM here. After 3 weeks of programming hip hop beats, I am dying to play some REAL music with REAL artists!!!

I dont mind playing artificial music, but sometimes it would be nice to get some people in the studio and work out on a real kit and come up with some new material!!

Unfortunately, getting the people together to do something without a hassle sometimes is impossible.

I am sorry if it sounds like I am upset, but I am upset. When I lived in Detroit, I loved getting together with other musicians to jam!

But for some reason in Philly lately everyone wants to rap

I have been reading this forum and hearing about how great it used to be. How about getting together and making a DVD or rehearsing for a reunion concert!!

Any takers? I know that the world needs better music than what is out there right now!!

Wait, I wont knock todays music because there are a few great new artists that are trying. But it is not enough!!

I am putting myself out there RIGHT NOW to say that I am not afraid to show anyone on this forum my skills and that I am tired of some of the garbage that these guys are calling music these days!!!

Anyone gonna take me up on it??

I second that emotion brother Daren. Hallelujah and Amen.As I stand right here and testify let me just say that brother Eli here has been in the hand of the musical sinners and he has experienced first hand the perils of the wicked oppressor and the demons of the hip and the hop!!!
He has forsaken all others in the name of the groove and has been a victim of it's menacing result. I have taken the beat , I have manipulated the hip, I have desimated the hop, until it no longer resembled the creation of it's originators, therefore causing mass destruction to the musical universe. Therefore let me testify to the power of the originators and bring back the life that we once knew, as in the land of Detroit, and the fallen city in the east called Phil, of Adelphia, and let them be joined together as one!!!

I moved to Nashville this year for pretty much the same reason, I'm starved for the REAL THING.

Bob Babbitt and Ed Greene are both living here and I think it's safe to say that all three of us are ready to groove given the appropriate players and singers!

We've also got the largest songwriting community in the world and only a small part of it is country. The material is here. Add to that tons of reasonably priced studio time and you have all of the necessary components except for the artists.

I came down here to help set off the bomb!
