Hi Bobby (and anyone else who wants to join the discussion),
I saw your comment about "Didn't I Blow Your Mind" by the Delfonics, one of my all-time favorite sweet soul records.

Do you remember anything about PAT SANDS & THE PEBBLES (also known as Sandy & The Pebbles)?
They covered two Delfonics songs on Kama Sutra, including "Loving Her" (as "Loving Him"). Their version is outstanding, and I know it's getting some plays in the UK.

I have a feeling you might be on this record. My two favorite Kama Sutra records from around that time are both Philly related, the other being "Peace Treaty" by the Fantastic Johnny C (the flip of "Let's Do It Together").

Hi Jeff,

I have heard of Pat Sands and the Pebbles, although I don't thiunk that songs were recorded in Philly. I think they were simply doing Philly covers.
The Johnny C record iaam aware of but I Don' remember if we did it or not. Was Jese James name on it as producer??? Or possibly Norman Harris,as he did some sides with Johnny as well. Our output with Mr. Corley(C) was limited.

Jesse James was indeed the producer on the Johnny C record... and the arranger was none other than Mike Terry.

Tommie Bell gets the arranger credits on Pat Sands & The Pebbles. Both sides "produced by Stan & Bell's production".

I was listening to another of your records today -- the Major Harris "My Way" LP. I see Babbitt's name in the credits too, plus Vince Montana... a year or so before he did that great funk 45, "Penguin Talk" by the French Connection.

Thanks again for the great stories!
