This forum is becoming addicting to me. I can't stay away from it. I need to go to an appointment in a few minutes and I keep watching the clock to see if I can squeeze out a few more minutes. Anyone else having the same problems???

You're feeling just like me. It's Friday night in Las Vegas. Went out tonight....gambing and drinking like a fool....but I couldn't wait to get home to see what was happening on the site. This weekend is the time I am going through my stuff to see if I have any treaures to share with my new friends. I hope that I can find some old labels that you guys will really enjoy. Love those three day weekends. Thanks.

Agreed - it's great fun and very educational. I have started to hate watching TV even more now.

I am actually getting a bit worried about the work that's piling up...

Ralph...can you spare one of those ex-wives to wash some dishes and clean for me!!! LOL

And in addition - last night I woke up thinking about all these names and things going on, with the forum. The names started to make sense, producers, writers, musicians and what they did where and when! Coming together like a jig saw. My weakness is I do not know 80% of the records spoke about here, so need to check out the compilations available in the shops.

Hey Guys,
This forum is the best thing since Hitville! It's
too bad my man Hank did.nt get a chance to hone in
he had a ton of stories, maybe I can get his wife to say a bit, since she was his anchor. I'll let you know. I find myself leaving my studio early in the morning and before I crash despite I'm beat down I have to cruise thru the Forum for my
early morning FIX. It's a wonderful thing, COmmunication!!!! Ralph,David,Lowell,John L. Bobby,Carl, DeAnne,Richie the input is unreal, but
just like Motown was it's a FIRST

Clay McMurray - you have just sent a shiver down my spine. The learning curve is steep on here, but thoroughly enjoyable. I find myself digging through records, books and all sorts to add one and one together.

Clay - I am reading a reveiew on 'Pree's Music Room', written by 'Francis Nero - Hines'. I am looking for dates, is that recent?? And is that Motown's Francis Nero? Also I love the Maxine Brown's original 'Oh no, not my baby'. I did not realise she sang it until I bought a 'Collectables' comp of her in Philly in 1994. Is 'A state of my own' out here in the UK, do you know?? I would love to hear Pree's version of the song - I may have to visit CDnow or who ever it is! This forum is costing me a fortune - but the best money I have spent in years.

This is exactly what this forum is doing - interfacing at the highest level and giving a real buzzzzzzzzzzz! Maybe Mr Cosby's wife may drop in and say hello. It would be wonderful.

Bobby - I would buy a gold off you to help you out, but I just don't want you to be lonely!!!

Cheers

Carl

Oooh, Clay....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try and ask Mrs Cosby if she would be so gracious....of course, when SHE is ready.

I shall be honest here and say I wanted to ask you about the service - but maybe it's not appropriate here..I am not sure. I said my goodbyes to Hank on that Tuesday...albeit in spirit and not in person.

As I sit here salivating with a "syringe"stuck in my arm, it follows me through "The tracks of my tears" all the while being a "love addict"
because "I can't get enough" and I am on "cloud nine" shedding the"tears of a clown" wrapped up in a "ball of confusion trying to decide whether I should stay glued to the forum or get to sleep.

Hi Carl,
You can go to cdbaby.com/pree and order Pree's CD
and they ship fast. And yes that is my Dear friend Francis Nero of Motown who did one of the reviews on the CD. I'm also in the process of releasing some more acts on my label"MYTOWN RECORDS" which will feature some interesting music from artist here in Detroit, I'll keep you all appraised of the progress. I hope you like our version of "Oh No" and Thanks for going to Pree's site. The CD is entitled" A STYLE OF MY OWN"

Clay...

I can assure you that Hank definitely lives on here in my home...that's one thing that will never change.

I have to admit, I get very tearful knowing that I never got to say thank you to him. I hope he knew that he was appreciated by many.

Please oh please let me see the service program...that is SO very thoughtful of you. Thank you.

Clay, Bobby, Ralph, everyone

I am soooo pleased you're all digging this forum as much as we in the UK are.

Although we've never met met you guys have been part of our lives for years through the records that we've been listening to - for some of us older guys for over 30 years.

I never thought I'd get the chance to talk to most of you - but through the wonders of the internet and this forum it's happening.

It IS totally addictive 'cause it's such a gas
to be able to communicate about something we
all love. I haven't watched TV this year - I've
got much better things to do .. like track down info. on Gwen Owens

Hi to all insomniacs!

I've just installed a fridge and a loo next to the computer. Weldon - my missus is starting to complain about the time I spend on the site. The kids used to hog the PC but now it's me!
