Hey guys,
I was rummaging through my dad's tapes, and I saw one labeled, "Traveling Wilburys: Volume One." Knowing that it featured some of my favorite classic stars such as the late Mr. Harrison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and a couple of other guys whose voices I could recognize, but I couldn't put names on.
I put it in the ol' tape player, and I loved all of the songs on there. The problem is, I have been looking around for the CD and I have not been able to find it, online or at stores. Can anyone help?
Thanks

This has got to be some kind of joke. What's wrong with this picture? Doesn't he realise the nature of this forum? The Traveling Wilburys?? Were they not on Ric-tic or Revilot?? Give me a break. Did some one take a wrong turn at the pass???? Was Roy Orbison recording secretly for Groovesville?? Did George Harrison record at Tera Shirma with Babbitt without us knowing about it??
Where are the outtakes and false starts??
Motown Mark, right!!!

Why not try ebay.com
I'm amazed it's not generally available.

Just because I have some free time:
PhillySoulMan: I fully understand that this is a forum dedicated to Detroit music. Being that this music is from an older generation, I was wondering if anyone here might know of places where they sell music that is no longer sold mainstream. My intent was not to start a thread about the Traveling Wilburys; they've got nothing to do with Detroit! "MotownMark, right!" Yah, motown is a synonym for Detroit, I live in the D, so it fits!
Davie G: Thanks for the tip, I'm searching E-Bay right now...
I'll let you guys get back to your discussions now.
