I know nothing about the above, except I have a few of their records and saw them in Hull around 1975. Was their stuff recorded in Detroit. Especially 'You want it' and the 2 versions of 'Feel the Need'? I vaguely remember someone telling me the latter was Sigma!
Thanks
Carl

HEY CARL, YES THE DETROIT EMERALDS RECORDED MOSTLY IN DETROIT, ALTHOUGH SOME STUFF WAS DONE AT ROYAL IN MEMPHIS. I THINK FEEL THE NEED WAS ONE BECAUSE IT SURE HAS THAT STAMP ON IT, BUT I MAY BE WRONG.
THEY NEVER RECORDRD IN PHILLY. THERE WAS AN INTERESTING VERSION OF FEEL THE NEED BY A BRITISHARTIST CALLED FORREST, AND ANOTHER VERSION ALSO ON WESTBOUND BY DAMIAN SHAWN, ME THINKS

Feel the need - it was done twice? It had a different bridge in the second version, on Atlantic. I believe!
