Sad news I'm sorry to say.

Frankie Gaye died on Friday (28/12) in Santa
Monica Hospital. Cause as yet not known.

I'll post more info. as and when I find out more.

This is unfortunate. I just met Mr. Gaye about a month ago at the taping of R&B 40, and he was so nice, we spoke at length, about lotsa stuff, from "What's Goin' On" to his own singing career. He was so nice and open.

He had just had brain surgery sometime before the concert, and he seemed a bit weak, but he didn't look supremely unhealthy, in fact he looked as though he was on the road to recovery, albeit a long road. I am certainly glad I got a chance to meet such a fantastic person.
