RALPH ,

CAN YOU TELL ME IF " ITS ALL OVER CASANOVA" AND " YOU MADE A BELIEVER OUT OF ME" BY RUBY ANDREWS ON ZODIAC WERE RECORDED IN STUDIO A.SHE WAS FROM CHICAGO BUT SHE RECORDED IN DETROT.
MIKE TERRY MENTIONED TO ME THAT HE THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE. WE HAD DISCUSSED IT IN THE CAR OUTSIDE OF THE STUDIO WHEN HE POINTED OUT WERE STUDIO A WAS ALTHOUGH I HAD ALREADY KNOWN OF ITS EXISTANCE.
I SEEM TO THINK THAT IT WAS CAUSE THE SOUND WAS JUST A BIT DIFFERENT THAN B.
ALSO THE FLAMING EMBER AND THE HONEYCONE STUFF.
ALSO WELDON MCDOUGAL WHO WAS NATIONAL PROMOTION DIRECTOR AT MOTOWN TOLD ME TO SAY HI TO YOU AND RUSS.HE IS FROM PHILLY AND HE WENT TO WORK FOR GAMBLE AND HUFF AFTER HE LEFT.

THANKS BOBBY ELI 12/23/01

Check out the magazines Soul Cargo, Hot Buttered Soul and Souled Out from the 70's and 80's or anything Rob Hughes does...he knew what studios were used.

My copies are too hard to get to these days...when I move I shall find them...

I think I have all or most of those Zodiac issues on Ruby Andrews...

Bobby
I can't really say for sure what was recorded at Tera Shirma. Certain songs I do remember, but for the most part, due to volume, I am not sure what was or what wasn't recorded at the studios. Say Hello to Weldon for me Bobby.

Taking a risk sfter me Gino Washington Faux pas. Is this the same Ruby Andrews who sang "Just Loving You"? If so, this has got to be in my top 5 soul records. I absolutely love it. What a voice!
