Greetings All, LOL! What's your sign? Hearing SS expound on what it was that Cancer's like(s) - made me think about the Zodiac. I kept a poster my mother had of all the Zodiac signs. I saw it the other day - but decided not to hang it up. I decided not to put that astrology poster up on any wall in this house - because for the most part - I have nowhere to put it. I moved from a three level townhome to a one. So there is no basement - den - etc. I thought I would end up with a house that had a den or family room - for real - but it just didn't work out like that. I had to learn to let the idea of a den or family room - go. I knew I wanted a one level home this time. I also had to give up the end tables that are supposed to go in the living/great room. LOL! There is no room in ours. I had to change my way of thinking - and just let it go. I don't need those end tables. I put two nice lamps on the bureau in the dining room. I had to change my ways and some things after this move. I had to throw away two floor pillows my mother had had for years. We used to place them both in front of the TV. I was sad to do it - yet it showed me again - that one can change one's way of thinking and feeling - indeed - and it won't take away from what one really needs to have. Anyway - I don't want to put that zodiac poster on a wall now - but that's ok. After seeing that poster on one of the walls within my mother's and eventually - my place and over the years - I decided that it was time to take it down - or at least - not put it up. I needed to change up. I did keep a sign/plastic thingy shaped like a big ball - that spells out SOUL. The S is a color - the O is and so on. Red - black - green - yellow and blue adorns it. And it is stiched/braided all together and shaped like a circle. I've had it for over thirty years. LOL! I'm sure many of us know what our zodiac signs are. Perhaps at one time - some of us were into it a little. And if only long enough to learn and understand some things about it. What's your sign - and do you all believe in Astrology - and as especially as it relates to our birth dates? We were all born. Yip-pee. LOL! I'm a Sagg. LOL! Hey Ya' All; Good Sunday Morning....... I do not believe the general horoscopes telling your daily forecast in the newspapers. In the case of traits within a sign I found with people I've known and myself that certain traits can fit one's personality, likes & dislikes, not all, not everything. Also I think there are two types of people in general in all signs aside from the so-called good & bad traits. Read a good astrology book and see if any traits, likes & dislikes, ascribe to yourself. Astrology is a science based on the position of the planets at the time of one's birth, relative to the ascendant at that exact time . The newspaper mumbo jumbo has no credence, as they are only generalities based on bare bones basic info. When someone asks what sign you are, it is only based on your sun sign, as there is a wealth of other planetery info that comes into play which coincides with your sun sign which makes up our individual unique personalities. | ||

BTW..A persons ascendant(rising sign) or moon sign may be much stronger relative to degrees , so much that its influence would be much more apparent personality wise, than that which is associated by your sun sign. For instance, I am a pisces, with a taurus ascendant and most people see me as a Taurus because on the surface, i appear to be a Taurus. Now, I have a Libra moon, which makes me a very creative and artsy person and therefore I wiew the world from a creative perspective, and that coupled with Pisces and Taurus only emphasises that creativity. | ||

with a shoutout to Mr. Engvall... Stupid people should have to wear signs that just say, "I'm Stupid." That way you wouldn't rely on them, would you? You wouldn't ask them anything. It would be like, "Excuse me...oops...never mind, didn't see your sign." It's like before my wife and I moved. Our house was full of boxes and there was a U-Haul truck in our driveway. My neighbor comes over and says, "Hey, you moving?" "Nope. We just pack our stuff up once or twice a week to see how many boxes it takes. Here's your sign." As far as believing it?Of course I believe it,it's been around for thousands of years and people are still trying to debunk it. I also have a third degree in Reiki- a form of energy healing---Hey,it causes no damage to the body and it may help,sort of like prayer.
