Hey All, Hey SS. Glad to have you back in the house. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves in LA. And I hope Mr. Scott is doing super. I mentioned on yesterday that my father is also a Cancer. His birthday and my mother's baby sister's (RIP Aunt Della) b'day was the same day. But you're a Leo right? My grandmother Lola was a Leo - and a bootlegger till she died. Although - her honest profession was that of a cook - and she did that until she retired. LOL! Lola was something else - and that is probably partly why I took to you straight away - girlfriend. Well any old ways - I'm glad you're back. The anit-infammatory drug I took yesterday made me sick to my stomach. I'm still not right. Just dragged myself out of bed - and will return shortly. They said to take the pill w/some food - which I did - but still got sick as a dog. LOL! I threw them pills away - for that cordizone shot - fixed me all the way up. My arm is just about right again. Hi there GoGo; Yes, L.A. was super as usual, the weather, the vibe, the prospects all uplifting! More on that later. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DAD GOGO !! No, not a Leo, I was born on the cusp, born five days either side of the cusp, you can have traits of both signs. I mainly fall in line with the Cancer traits though as far as personal likes, dislikes, and ways lean toward. A true "Moonchild", Love full moons & cresent moons, I love water & water locations, seafood, love the metal silver, mercury, cool water colors of "all shades of blues", ice blue, deep marine colors, turuoises, aquas, teals, and bluish-purples like tanzanites and color of periwinkle. A homebody even though I travel full-time . Organized home. Romantic & very affectionate & giving to my partner. Mostly Cancer traits. I always say my Leo side gets me in trouble, LOL!! It also lends to my attraction to the soulful show biz world, LOL, LOL!!!!!!! GoGo, didn't know you hurt your arm gurlfriend??? All, SS - thank you for your kind words and concern. Yes my grandmother was one of a kind. When she died - she had two houses - two cars - money in the bank - and excellent credit. She was the first one around to get a side by side refrigerator. Being a part-time bootlegger paid off for my grandmother - indeed. One time - she took me to downtown Ensley - about four miles from her house. She left me in the car - and said she would be right back. I was five years old - and must have gotten tired waiting on her. I left the car to look for her - but couldn't find her. This really nice caucasian man asked me if I was Lola Butt's granddaughter. I said yes - and that I was looking for her. Thankfully - he knew where Mama lived and took me home. Mama ran out of the house to meet us - and she thanked that man over and over. When my mother got home - she learned about it, frowned up at mama and let her have it. She still was speaking to her mother - so she couldn't go too off on her. And kudos still goes out to that kind man. LOL! I used to tease mama when I was a teenager about it. I told her that she should have been ashamed of herself leaving me in the car for that long - and that someone could have kidnapped me. She laughed and told me that nobody wanted me. LOL! One time when I was also five - I drank what I thought was someone's ice water from the frig. We didn't have a picture to put water in at the time - so we all would put a glass in the refrigerator to get cold for later. Well me and my slick self thought I was getting over - so I drank the glass of (gin) in a hurry before someone came into the kitchen. I was going to fill it and replace it back in the frig. Well my goodness - it was a glass of straight gin. I started hollering after I drank it. LOL! Of all people - here comes Lola in the kitchen. She looked after me, fussed and told me that that was what I got for trying to be sneaky. LOL! Yes Lord - mama made plenty of money from her part-time business. LOL! SS - on that astrology tip - I always thought that the cusp was just that last day where they show the end of an astrology sign. Like for Saggitarius - isn't it from 21st of November until the 20th of December? Hearing that it is a five day cusp is news to me. I believe you though. I just never had a clue that it stretched that far. I'm sure about my zodiac sign because I am beyond that five day span. I enjoyed your retrospective on what Cancers like and love.
