HI Kev-Lo!

I guess the most historic day of my life would be nearly 13 years ago on July 10th when I gave birth to my oldest daughter Brianna. After I had her I remember lying there in the hospital with about a billion thoughts going through my head...amazed that I brought a new life into this world...and scared that another human being was going to look to me for guidance...I kept thinking "Im someone's mother..how weird is that"? Poor kid!:-)
My husband has older children from a previous marriage so I knew he was an old hand at this...I just remembered it feeling wonderful..weird..exciting and defintley historic!
Now she is going to be an official teenager..another milestone to expereince.....all I have to say is....HELP ME!!!! :-)

One of the most historic days of my musical life was when I met Herb Johnson(R.I.P.)because it was through him that I met Kenny Gamble, and the rest is history.

1) When I gave birth to my children. The Doctor told me (and my Husband at the time), I wouldn't live, if I had any more children after my firstborn. I had 2 more children.
My Firstborn Son was pronounced dead, but he's alive & well. I almost lost my Daughter at birth, but she's fine,(she gave me my Grandson). My Baby Boy is fine, also...and I'm so very Greatful.
3) When I performed at the Grand Quarters, paying tribute to Mary Wells
4) When I met the Funk Brother Joe Hunter in person
5) When I met Coleman Young in Person
6) When I met Luther VanDross in Person
7) When I met Prophet "Isaiah" (miss ya)in person and when I met so many of you, especially SisDetroit at the SD Event last year
8) When I found out the guy that wrote one of my favorite love songs was here on SD...Bobby Eli

The birth of my mother on Sept 16 1932. If it wasn't for Mom, there'd be no lil' juice running around.

Honorary mention: My own birth. If not for my birth, I wouldn't be able to answer this question :-)

To quote a famous American: "I just want to thank everyone who made this day necessary". :-)
