I can no longer sit still without making a respectful correction to Juice's comment, "but consider this: You can put a pig in a doghouse, but it doesn't make it a dog." (in a rock vs soul discussion) Johns Hopkins recently conducted several studies to determine the validity of some widely-held folk beliefs. In one study they housed nine pot-bellied pigs in doghouses for periods ranging from three to seven weeks. Of the nine porkers, five came out barking; three became enamored of the lab technician's leg; and one is about to be signed up for a reality show. Juice, while I strongly agree with your point about the disrespect shown to soul music by lumping it with rock or rock and roll, I had to point out this error  Bob F. Hey Bob!! That's an interesting story. I can't find that study anywhere. This is truly amazing & I can believe it, as most animals learn to make their sounds through mimickry. However, he can bark as much as he wants to. The butcher will still sell his parts & call 'em pork Pig that is pigskin ball bacon grease!! Chittlin's anyone??? | ||
