Hello Fans!
As a Motown artist I should be ashamed to ask this question but contrary to rumors all artists were not that close to each other. I need to know any information about the burial sites of any motown artists. I already know about Jackie wilson because he is on the row before my mother.
Any leads or contacts will be helpful. Please respond as quickly as possible. Thank you!

Hi Frances

Nice to hear from you again.

Eddie Bongo Brown is also buried at Westlawn.

David Ruffin and James Jamerson in Woodlawn just north of Highland Park.

Florence Ballard in Detroit Memorial Park at 13 Mile and Ryan.

If you go to the on-site offices at these cemeteries you will be given a diagram to find the plot.

I would also ask who else is buried there, especially at Woodlawn.

The cemeteries are immaculate and a tribute to the people of Detroit.

David

Hi Frances -- Pistol Allen is in the columbarium at Roselawn Cemetery on Woodward at 12 Mile, Berkley.

If you want to point out a Detroit rock icon as well, Rob Tyner of the MC5 is there in the regular cemetery part.

Frances, call me, this is Brenda's ex-co-worker. If you can't get any information at Woodlawn, call me. I will show you where David and Jamerson is buried.
