Dennis,
This fan is wondering: I see your credit on the Wilson Pickett album with "Don't Knock My Love" and his mind-bending!!!! cover of Free's "Fire and Water."
You are sitting in with the legendary Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, and I wondered how many sessions/artists you played with as a sideman with that particular group. And are there other non-Detroit guest shots that would surprise us?
To think that this forum is attended by members of the historic rhythm sections of Detroit and Philadelphia and New York -- wowee! We gotta get Booker T. and Sly & Robbie to start posting too!

Hi Brian. I went down to Mussel Shoals twice with Wilson Pickett. It was a pleasure to play with that band. I also recorded in Miami for Jerry Wexsler and Atlantic (Jackie Moore) I also recorded at Bell Sound in New York (Royal Tones and Del Shannon) I also recorded in Nashville at RCA with Wilson Pickett and Universal in Chicago (Jamie Coe and others). I also lived in LA and worked for Motown and many artists out there. All of the details are in my book soon to be released in the US, "Guitars, Bars, and Motown Super Stars".

Hi Dennis,
(Sorry for changing the subject.)
My name is Uarda N'Jie, I am Mike Hanks
daughter and someone told you did sessions
with my father. That person was Keith Rylatt.
I like to know if you can share something
about my father that you can remember. I recently
read a funny story that you wrote on Ritchie's
Site. It was a very delightful story. Looking
to hear from you.
If you don't want to share with everybody please
e-mail me at my address. uardanjie@msn.com

Dennis:
Wow! That was you wailing away on Pickett's version of "Fire & Water"! What a smoker! Can't wait for your book to come out - the tales you have to tell...
