Glad you added the "overseas" reference. I'll contact you off-board. There's a bunch of late presidents sitting on my desk, eager to get back home again.

Well, our book should be here in the next few days. They won't distribute to other states, so any outside sales will have to be direct. Sorry guys, but this publisher thinks that only people from herewould be interested. How dumb can you get!!! Anyway, I'll be glad to autograph any copies from me & send them priority.

By the way,our next big Detroit Legends concert will be on Dec.6th. Give me a week or two & I'll post a flyer about it. We've got some nice surprises in store for everyone. There will be videos available from our first show, plus I think we'll also have videos from Gino's old TV show, which includes many Detroit legends, including a lot of rare Motown stuff.

Good Luck with the book

Hi Marilyn,
How exciting to finally have the book in your hands! I look forward to seeing you again, and can't wait to get a hold of the book! BTW, who's your publisher? Did you have an agent, or did you do everything yourself??

Marilyn. Congratulations, could you please post details of how we can obtain copies. Will your publisher send them to the UK? Tell him it's a small island across the big sea! Keith.

My address is:
Marilyn Bond
P.O.box 148
Norvell,Mi. 49263

Unfortunately the publisher thinks it's a local book only (how clueless can you get??) and will only sell to local bookstores, but you can either buy them autographed from the author at book-signings or by mail. They'll all be sent Priority Mail the day I receive an order. $20 plus $5 s&h for the U.S. and $10 s&h for overseas.

Millie,
No,we did this ourselves, but I want to do a more in-depth book, and go through a different publisher. This one doesn't make it very easy on the authors, unfortunately.

Ritchie-
Excuse my denseness, but my grand-daughter moved in the day the books came in, & I lost your address. Please post it on my regular e-mail so I can put this in the mail for you. It's ready to fly back to the U.K. & into your hands.
Tunefully,
Marilyn

Marilyn

I just received the book, and it's fabulous. As a total stranger to Detroit (wrong side of the Atlantic!), I found it quite fascinating, and a real education. It's really interesting to actually see pics of many of the folks regularly discussed on here, and put a face to the name.

PS - thanks for the mention in the acknowledgements. I'm delighted to see my own name in such elevated company!
