I always use Google when searching for words or names.

While I find it to be pretty good, I wonder if anyone knows of any other ones worth using?

Google is very good but surprisingly for many searches Lycos' search engine comes up with twice as many items. I almost always use quotation marks around my search word(s).

Check out dogpile.com. It checks itself plus nine other engines as well. Its my favorite so far!

Dogpile is GREAT if you're looking for song lyrics. Google is what I use for pretty much everything else.
