Anyone ever wonder what our forum friend 'THE COUNT', really looks like? COOL.

Well, he looks like he's as 'cool' as a cucumber... looks pretty cool to me with that slanted 1950-60s "postured-leaned look", lookin' cool 'dude, wearing those dark shades... I'd bet he ran a lota dudes off the road while playin' street "Chicken" (white-knuckled) behind the wheel, back in the day!

Anyway, yes it is... so here's lookin' at cha' my man, here's to 'cheers' to "The Count"... for making the Detroit News newspaper, 'Front Page', the August 14 edition of the 2003 State Fair Guide!

WOW MAN,like I dig all you kool kats kind words,but not very kool at all. We just got our power restored and water running,so i've been pretty hot since 4:10p.m. yesterday and getting ready for the dream kruise is a bit discouraging,it seems to be getting on course but is a bit scaled down compared to what we expected,but the "count" will be there and will probably be in the news again"WANTED".

The editors who asked if I could help get that photo together were thrilled with the result, they had no idea we were getting a photo of the real deal ...

Whew ...online at an associate's house, I hear you count about what we're going through in Detroit. I feel like I've been sleeping in my backyard for two days with a flashlight ...a little scruffy and hot. Whenever Detroiters see hot food on a grill or a line at a gas station we're all going crazy.

I spent two hours today in a gas line and they only called the cops once!

HEY SUSIE DARLING,thank you and the rest of the staff at the news,what an honor it was that you picked us to be your choosen klub to photo,great pictures.Our power kame back at 4;30 this evening.
It started raining again at 2:30 here and I went outside with a bar of soap and towel,I was in my skiveys and my kook(wife) said just wait till the water komes back on,anyhow I took a shower in our back yard and my garage is 45x50,so it takes up the whole backyard,kinda like a privicy fence,so while I stripped of my shorts I was washing and the nieghbor lady was out there lighting her bbq grill and seen me,oh-oh I thought,and this is a for real incident,she said STEVE what the hell are you doing,I said kool it baby,Its my pee-pee,my soap, and I'll wash it as fast as I want.
Well,anyhow,I got my shower and our water is back up and running,but now the threat is a chance of sewage backing up into our basements in DEARBORN,WYNDOT,SOUTHGATE,TAYLOR,etc.So I'am bring what I kan up stairs,but have so much stuff down there and the insurance would never replace the true value of what the albums and 45's and all are really worth, and my drums are being brought up right now by my daughter,so I better go help and get this done,cause I'am still going to woodward and will spend the nite there ready for the action tomorrow.

P.S. my next door neighbor has an outdoor shower, and he uses it after working in the yard! We have privacy fences, but he's a tall guy. What can I say, I live in Little Bohemian. Bohemians, wild people etc.

I too took a "shower" in yesterday's rain ...I'd peeled off Woodward with a friend when we saw the Franks Anatra hot dog guy grilling. Hot food! Hadn't had any in days. The rain started when we were in line and with a long line of people we just stood stoically. We wanted those hot dogs.
