Harry,
I know I posted this thread ages ago, but here I will try again.
Will You Please! consider a release of "The Motown Story" onto CD, it does not have to be a big fance box set, but those interveiws with The Artists and the mixing is just "Classic" and the commentary Charlie Van Dyke. This set is a must that must be kept for future generations.
Sadly I do not have a record deck any longer, Please Harry, YOU CAN DO IT!
Detroit Michigan - this is THE MOTOWN SOUND, those words are just - well I am lost for words, again wet eyes!

If you check out the Motown BB, you'll see that plans are already afoot for a revised digital reissue of the Motown Story collection, beginning with a "Volume One", covering the sixties, and using the original interview tapes (and more!) :oD

Thanks Ritchie, I used to be a member on the Motown boards ages ago and my details would not be accepted?, so I joined again a few hours ago, but I am still waiting for the password!
Did see the posting by Harry W - just hope they keep the intro I mentioned by Charlie Van Dyke, as I did see it is a new narrator.
Thanks John
Looking forward to Septmeber - haha
