Has anyone been to the Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis? If so, how was it?

If you go to Patrick Montier's Stax site you will see a write up of the visit by the Ambassadors of Soul to the opening events organised by the museum back in April and May:-

If you live in the US then watchout for the Soul Comes Home show on PBS TV which was the one of the shows to celebrate the opening of the museum.

The museum is very cool.

The funny part was that a lot of the Stax stuff in the museum had been recorded by the funks while most of the Motown stuff was LA-oriented.
