I found this link on another site. It is fabulous. I've looked thru it - and am only mildly upset that they don't have more Delfonics tunes available. If you want to see the groups listed - go to the "T" tab - and scroll down. Now there are many tunes by the Temptations for sure. I love that. And of course - the individual artists are featured under the tab w/the first letter of their names.

I thank the poster for this link. She even suggested typing in Kell Osborne's name. Eddie & Paul's used to be sidekick and my homeboy. There are three songs listed.

I'm in heaven! I'm going go ga-ga, for real. Thank God for all small and big miracles indeed.

Oh boy, look for the Soul Club site to get overloaded now, which is what destroyed listening to music on the Soul Walking site. I've known about it for two years.

Top of pageBottom of page   By Sb (205.186.128.151) on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 - 07:04 pm:

Hey RD - that's alright bro. I'm definitely there, and set for life.

WOO-HOO! "I'm Having A Party" & "It's Saturday Night", every night for the kid.

I'll neva be the same. Thanks again to that poster and to God above for my own special tunnel to most of the songs and artists that I love and cherish, and have for econs.

Top of pageBottom of page   By RD (65.150.242.70) on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 - 07:14 pm:

SB, the Soulwalking site use to be great for audio too until everybody found out about it. Now you can barely listen to a song on it. Once too many people learn about the SoulClub the same thing will happen. When you click a tune to play you'll get the error message, the server is busy now. If I'm wrong on this, and I hope I am, will somebody please chime in and set me straight. Soulwalking and the SoulClub may do their streams differently and overloading may not be a problem at the Soul Club.

Not to mention the authorities, whoever they may be that monitor things like this for recording companies. No way can the site be legal. Sometimes, SB (not meaning you but the poster) it's best to keep some things to yourself.

Top of pageBottom of page   By SB (205.187.255.160) on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 - 07:27 pm:

RD - say what? And in this case - how would I or the poster that posted it on that other site have known what you speak on? In saying that and again - how would I have known that I should have kept it to myself - and for what reason specifically? So that I would reap the benifits of my find and no others? I am a share and I love to share. I had no intention of keeping it to myself. Hopefully - they will have a tip-top server. And what are you referring to as to the legality of the site? Thanks.

Top of pageBottom of page   By RD (65.150.242.70) on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 - 07:34 pm:

SB read my post. I'll repeat: the soulwalking site use to be great. Go on there now and try to play a song. Nine times out of 10 you'll get a server is busy message. The site has become virtually useless for listening to music now. Hopefully, you'll be able to continue enjoying the site in spite of the onslaught of visitors.

Maybe somebody else here can school you about the legality of streaming songs that you haven't acquired the permission to do so. A good clue is the fact that there's no contact info for whoever runs the site on the site.

Ok RD. I see said the blind woman. But - I'll ride it as long as the coattails are flowing. I'll be a hanger on groupie.

And you're right about the Soul Walking site. I had to keep hitting the pause and play button ova and ova - and after awhile it would start streaming. But then again - that site can't touch the one posted above, as I'm listening to the Supremes now as I type. Whoo-hoo!

Hey ya'll. Check out this cut by Sam & Dave. Lordy - but did we used to tear it up off of this tune. I remember a female that could dance like the wind, and especially off of this record. And everyone agreed, that she was the best dancer - we'd ever seen.

I'll holla back on 8-2-03. Nite.

Good Morning All,

Mel - and what am I supposed to say? I am enjoying the site just like you said you are doing. Never fear - I am not e-blasting the link all ova the net. I haven't even emailed a soul with the link.

So everything is everything and it puts me in a "Mellow Mood." I am still "Checking It Out", and loving it.

Top of pageBottom of page   By RD (65.150.229.135) on Sunday, August 03, 2003 - 11:12 am:

Don't worry Mel due to all the exposure the site is getting on this forum frequented by many who still work for some of the record companies and publishers who own the masters and copyrights to many of the songs on the Soul Club site it won't be around much longer for people like you and me to enjoy.

Top of pageBottom of page   By SB (205.187.255.250) on Sunday, August 03, 2003 - 11:22 am:

RD - was your last comment a slight against me? And if so - are you upset that I posted the link here for the folks here to see? Plus - didn't you hip me to the fact the other nite that this site was illegal? And if so - how was I supposed to know that it was? After all - I didn't learn about it until you informed me and after I posted the link?

SB, I know you didn't know. I'm speaking of what may happen down the road. When these sites become known by certain people they are soon shut down. Don't feel bad I'm responsible for giving it out myself sometime ago, not on this site, but on another and it's something I've regretted every since.

excuse me for butting in but what can I say it's what I do best...RD I think you need to CHILL with SB all they did was find something they enjoyed and wanted to share it with this forum. They commited no crime, and if the people who created the site committed a crime, then let the law deal with them. So what you've known about it for 2 years, great, but I haven't, and I appreciate the info provided by SB. So there will be more people on the site, well guess what, it's not called the World Wide Web for nuthin'...by it being put on the web, it was MEANT for all those interested to be able to enjoy, and it seems like your treating it like some exclusive club that only a special few should know about. What if someone who knew about Soulful Detroit before you did got pissed about you and others coming here to post just because they didn't want it to get "too crowded"??

Job you can kiss my ass!

The difference between telling somebody about the Soulful Detroit site and the Soulclub site is that SD is legal and SC is not.

Do you realize the number of Brunswick and Motown recordings on that site, not to mention nearly all the songs from a small Philadelphia recording company that Weldon, Kevin, Harry W and others that visit this site were/are involved with?

Nobody was getting on anybody, I was simply explaining what was not known. Idiot! I admitted that I made the same mistake myself on another forum. If you have a problem with me and my posts don't respond to them and keep my name out your mouth.

RD...profanity not called for...and if you had an ounce of intelligence (it doesn't sound like you do, does RD stand for "really dumb"???), you could find other ways to express your feelings about my comment. Exactly how pitiful are you to try and cuss somebody out that you don't even know, via the internet??? :o)
Your response makes me stick by my original comment even more...

BTW...this is a public forum, and if you don't want your comments to get responses and be commented on, don't post'm.

Here's a bar of soap with your name on it, get to scrubbin' ;o)

Job, the discussion about the jukebox site was over until you decide to jump in and reopen it. I stated why I said what I said but I guess you didn't read that. Like others have said when you don't like something somebody post move on. Most of the people who visit this site knew about the Soul Club anyway.

F.Y.I. Ass is not considered a profanity you imbecile.

Job must stand for Jive Overbearing B....

...wow, that was a good one. Jive, overbearing, AND imbecile...what a way with words you have there...but it's cool, consider this discussion closed. Well, I'm off of work now, you won't hear another peep out of this jive turkey, my brotha (or sista??) :o)
