Another thread made prompted me to post this.
The man's full name is Lejon Coles Jr (now you know the father's real name) but you may have never heard of him because the family disowns him. He readily admits to being the one that encouraged his father to copy Earl Grant.
Have any of you ever met him? He the spitting image of Nat, moreso than Natalie.
In the fifties he was a doo wop bass singer that claims to be the source of the real bass voice on many of the Federal recordings because when any group was short a man he filled in. Then he went by the moniker Little Sonny Coles
