One of the disadvantages of living in Vegas is the total lack of culture here. If you guys know of any websites that broadcast the type of music we talk about here so I can fill in the blanks on some of the tunes (I'm dying to hear "The Larue" by Lada Edmond, Jr).
Also, what's preventing us from starting a mp3 trading site of some of the rarer things that aren't going to see the light of day anytime soon on CD (i'm still looking for a copy of the song my dad wrote - Please don't cheat on me by the Sinceres - Thanks again Scratcher) !

If you're interested in classic New Orleans R&B, you might try WWOZ.org from New Orleans on Wednesday evenings for "Records From The Crypt" with volunteer deejay Billy Delle. He was going out to hear Ernie K-Doe, Irma Thomas, Dave Bartholomew, Fats Domino, Earl King, Eddie Bo, Shirley and Lee, Huey Smith and the Clowns and others back in the day.
