I'd like to endorse this recommendation of In The Basement to one and all. It's a fabulous soul magazine and contains interviews with anyone who is anyone on the soul scene. People I admired so much in the past and continue to admire today are found, interviewed and given their dues.

Thanks you guys for the info I would like to get an annual subscription to this mag. starting with the one with Laura Lee & Barbara Mason.I will also tell my brother Randy about this as maybe they would be interested in some of his interviews.He has written for Discoveries and Goldmine in the past.

I'd love Randy to do an article on Mary Wells, bringing her discography up to date with the Philadelphia Int tracks included. Then perhaps we could start to make some noise to try and get them released. Has anyone any positive info about her time with Carl Davis and Chi Sound?
Sincce her untimely death, so much more info has surfaced about Mary and you surely must have some good stories to tell with your closeness to her.
