I love Ralfi Pagan - his version of "Make It With You" is awesome.
I do wonder if he's alive

I have that record too. I think he was from Chi-town or the label he recorded for was there. I'm not sure what happen to him. I'd like to know also.

Ralfi Pagan recorded for the then-NYC based Fania label at the same time Latin music legends Joe Bataan & Willie Colon were on the roster.
"Make It With You" was released on the Fania label, who at that time had a distribution deal with Scepter/Wand Records. The single made it to #32 on Billboard's R&B Chart in 1971.
He later recorded a duet with Sylvia Robinson - "Soul Je T'aime" - which charted at #39 on the R&B listings in 1973.
His 1971 album "Ralfi Pagan With Love" is one of the best examples of Latin-based R&B/soul and, thankfully, was reissued on CD by Low Profile Records.
I still have my 45 of "Make It With You" and hearing sing in Spanish at the end is the icing on the cake.
