Tonight,on "NIGHTFLIGHT", 7/24 1159PM ET/USA,streaming live on the
internet at www.womr.org, I will air for the first time on
radio/internet the UNRELEASED Marvin Gaye deluxe 2cd set "I WANT You"
from UMG...scheduled for release on 7/29. As was the case with
Marvin's deluxe "Let's Get It On", the set consists of the original
album remastered, as well as unreleased session tracks and unique
instrumentals.This is to kick off WOMR's summer fundraiser.
WOMR 92.1 PROVINCETOWN is a community radio station that depends on
the pledges of listener's and community organizations to keep it's
programming on the air. It is radio that you won't hear on commercial
stations.
I have the latitude and the luxury to focus my shows on R&B, soul,
and Motown...including the Supremes, who get probably more airplay on
my show than most anywhere you will find. I often get pre-released
promos from Universal that I air as soon as I get them.
