I just happened to flip on my TV this morning and came into a history of the Isley Brothers. This was the preliminary to them live in NYC on the Today Show. It was great. What a class act. Everyone was dressed sooo cool and the show was great. Young and old were totally into it. What a great way to start my day.

Hey Ralph,
I too saw the Today show this morning. I love the Isley Brothers, and I enjoyed their performance immensly this morning. They sung "Shout", like Paul - Jimmy & David did in the miniseries movie.
And I agree - they woke me all the way up this morning. I totally enjoyed them.

Thanks for posting SB. I was beginning to think I was the only one that saw the show.

Hey Gang:
A retail colleague saw the Isleys on the Today Show as well. She said Ronald & company sounded amazing.
Looks like I better start getting up early on Saturdays from now on...

The morning shows (i.e., Today, Good Morning America) list the concerts scheduled for the summer on their websites. It's worth a look. I was in NYC recently and went to a Sunday morning taping of Weekend Today. The only performers that day were animals -- including Skittles the bear, who tipped over an aquarium containing a very large snake. (It didn't escape, however.) Would much rather have been there for the Isley Brothers!!
