Talk about obscure Motown peeps... I used to use his 3rd world calling piece (ala Dr. Perri Johnson's transition on WDAS - Those of you who grew up in Philly in the late 70's will know this tune) on my radio shows back in the 90's and I would like to know why I can't get any of his stuff on CD to replace my LP collection that is getting a tad worn out. I also had the good fortune to find a copy of Mandre 4 in a flea market in Berkeley, CA from a label in San Rafael, CA... Any one wanna take a stab at this topic ?

105.3 where the MUUUUUUUUUUUSic is the Message. Yeah dawg, they gave up the juice.
BTW, you most certainly are the only person in the world with all 4 Mandre albums - LOL. I thought I was the only one with more than one of them (The first w/ Solar Flight & M3000). At least you've got the vinyl, mine are on tired old cassette tape.

I remember Madre...though I never bought none of the albums. Were they instrumentals? I used to think he was really from outer space looking at some of those album covers!

I think I am the OTHER one with 4 Mandré LP's... I trust the 4th is a clear vinyl issue in a clear jacket? Does your copy look the same...?

Hm, I saw their 1st 2 lp's twice last week & was thinking about grabbing the first one, it's disco-y for my taste but some of those instrumental passages were pretty funky... I was curious 'cause the lp looked like the Quazar lp cover (at least to me at the time!)
