Hi
Can anyone confirm that the Spinners Box Set has been delayed by two weeks to the 22nd July ??
I have seen this on one site, though my order still says due 8th or 9th July.
Thanks
John

The 3CD Spinners Chrome Collection box set is out.
It's excellent! The choice of songs is good and the liner notes are well researched and written. It's a Rhino projesct so I wouldn't expect anything less.

It has not been delayed. I saw it in the stores this weekend. But I'm torn over whether or not to buy it. Its a good collection if you don't have any of their earlier ones. But for me, it just seems like an update of their 2cd anthology ONE OF A KIND LOVE AFFAIR (which I already have), and with songs that I can probably do without.

The UK release has been delayed until the 28th July, but my copy is on it's way "Global Priority" and should be here this week.
I have the 2 CD Antholgy, but I would have begged or borrowed to have the money to get this box set - it is just like when THE FOUR TOPS - FOUREVER WAS RELEASED - PURE HEAVEN!

Well I am in "Heaven" once more, a Friend ordered The SPINNERS BOX SET for me from UTAH on Monday and it arrrived this morning in England, still not released in the UK until the 28th July.
Someone side they have the Spinners two CD set, but this goes even better and those strong backing voals which THE SPINNERS were so good for
