Laura is sitting in one of the studios at Muscle Shoals Sound. We were visiting the studios as part of a tour of Muscle Shoals and the Alabama Musical Hall of Fame.

Laura had just given an interview to an Italian TV company who were making a documentary on soul music. I knew Graziano Uliani who was making the film and asked whether he would include Laura and he readily agreed. Graziano runs one of the best soul festivals in Europe held in the Italian town of Porretta.

From Left to Right Mable John, Little Milton, Laura, Mack Rice and me in front.

This was taken backstage at the Gibson Lounge after the Soul N' Roll concert on 29/4/03 featuring Mable and Milton which was part of the celebrations for the opening of the Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis. Mack sang the next night at the Soul Comes Home event at Orpheum in Memphis.

What kind of youth pills are these women taking I have to get some. When I see pics like this it does ooze soul like Tony Russi said. It reminds me of some of the pictures you would see of the Soul Clan with Solomon Burke, Don Covay, Joe Tex, Wilson Pickett and Ben E King..
