Another of my all time faves(yes there are many)
is on the Dionn Record Label(no.508)
and as well as being a northern soul classic is also a soul classic and if anyone has heard it and dosent think so well,
I'll eat my hat.

The record is by
Moses Smith
and titled
'The girl across the street"
backed with
"hey love(I Wanna thank you)"

Now he also cut a 45 on the Cotillion record Label(no.44075)
"keep on striving/come on let me love you"
which isnt to bad either

but the gem is the girl across the street
track and if anyone has any doubts regards the northern soul stuff then dig this track out and sit back.

Dionn Records have recently released an undiscovered till recently Moses Smith side TRY MY LOVE from the excellent Northern Soul cd featuring Jamie /guyden stuff.More info on the Jamie Guyden website.The 45 is very expensive,as it is meant to be limited.
The COTILLION side is also very much in demand in the UK,and gets plays in rare soul venues.
