On the Valorie Jones thread, U stated U once worked 4 the old Detroit General Hospital. Presently I work 4 the DMC(Detroit Medical Center), which also includes the Detroit Receiving Hospital(Old Detroit Gen.). Just curious of which Dept.(If I may ask), I just happen 2 know lots of people who work the DMC, we may know some of the same people. Sometimes, this can B a small world...

I worked at the old DGH on St. Antione. When I first arrived I worked on 5-2 which was also the CCU.
I was transferred to 3-2 which was the the step down unit from ICU and it included the Burn Unit. I moved to NYC around the time the old DGH closed and it was moved over to the Medical Center. Loved the old DGH. Met some great folks and had some crazy experiences there.

Two folks. One was a physician from India who has since passed on. The other was a medical attendant who is now a practicing physician in San Diego. I used to float in the ER sometimes. Crazy place!
