What was your favorite Five Heartbeat song?
Does anyone know where I can find the song (from the Soundtrack) "Just Incase"? 4 some strange reason, it's not on the soundtrack, but it was one of my favorites...Thanx
P.S. I hope this wasn't a previous topic!!!

I liked the soundtrack, but I thought they could have done it much better. They left off a few songs that were in the film. I would also have liked them to include the Five Heartbeats versions of "Nights Like This" and "A Heart Is A House For Love" and the song they did in the Beacon Theatre sequence where J.T. makes a married woman swoon. Also, does anyone know who provided the singing voices for the individual singers in the film?

This is a bit trivial, but did anybody notice that the piano solo on the soundtrack CD for "Nothing But Love" is different from the one heard in the film?

When Robert Townsend had his TV show, "Townsend Television" in the '90s, he had some of the soundtrack singers on one of the shows. I remember it, but only vaguely. Does anyone have a better memory of it?

dvdMike: It's been a while since I've seen the film or heard the soundtrack. But often a film sound is edited and mixed for visual continuity. And the soundtrack album is done by whole other department. This is why songs in a film can often sound a bit different from their album counterparts--with a different mix or different take.
A soundtrack album is edited for listenability; the sound in the actual film is normally edited for visual continuity.
There are examples of this difference between movies and their soundtrack album. Maybe other SD'ers can site some for us.

A Heart Is A House For Love-Marvin Junior may of been singing lead on the real record but the actor Michael Wright gets a "standing ovation" for the role he portrayed, excellent & soulful!!
