In keeping Soulful Detroiters informed of the goings-on of regulars on this site, I found the following blurb in the June 12 edition of The Monitor, the Downtown Detroit newspaper of happenings/events in the city:
"RJ's Rhythm Rockers will hold a CD release party on Friday night, June 20, at the Music Menu in Greektown. The group's debut CD was recorded live at the Music Menu, where RJ Spangler has had a strong presence for close to a decade. Joining the Rhythm Rockers will be Stanley Mitchell of the Motorcity R&B Pioneers." Congrats. RJ!
