This just only shows that God heard all of our prayers, here's the answer we prayed have for:

Sheppard Smith had just announced on FOXNEWS just now, at 7:57 PM EST, that Luther Vandross has awaken today, that is slowly responding from out of his coma, yet at this time unable to speak, and this due to the respiratory tube still placed in his throat....

So let us continue to pray that Luther Vandross' recovery is be a complete one from this day on!

Yes Bobby Eli,Jesus is the Great Physician!!Just call on him and he'll be there.We can't see him,not yet anyways,but he's there by way of the holy ghost.Great story in the bible about a widow who continually pleaded with a judge to release her son.He was finally released.The lesson was to persistently pray to God about whatever the need is.Don't give up,he'll answer.

Luther's Mom was on Good Morning America yesterday.It was heartwrenching.He is her only surviving child.A daughter,died of asthma,and I believe her other two died of diabetes and hypertension.As did her husband.Her faith in God is beyond words.She said he is trying to say words.They will probably have to move him to a comprehensive rehab.hospital.She believes he will recover and SING again.She also said he has been in trouble(healthwise)for some time.

I read a story 3 days ago- about Luther's conditon and it interviewed his mom. It said he had not fully come out of coma.

Here is another mother standing in faith with Luther's mother. I also believe that he will recover, will sing again and have a mighty testimony to the world on what God has done for him. Anyone near DC can come to Blues Alley on June 25th where Nathan Heathman and Moments notice will do a love-in session for Luther. Jean Carne and Norman Connors hope to drop by to help send some love. Everyone is asked to bring a card or note with your choice of love token Luther tucked inside. Nathan will take the collection to Luther (probably give it to his mom)to help encourage him to keep fighting and trusting.
