I heard that the Motown Alumni Association may have to close down!!!! I was talking to a cousins of the president of the company, and she said that because of the economy falling, membership down, and no money coming in that the MAA might have to close down, anyone here about this?

She also said that the Motown alumni are not supporting the organization financially. That's a shame considering when I last looked, they (The MAA)found financing for the alumni, and made it possible for all Universal, and MOTOWN artists to print out the application to send in and everything! WOW ...this is a heavy blow to the alumni I think. Heck, I wouldn't have known nearly about Motown had I not of gone to that site. I don't think there is another site if it's kind on the internet. Somebody has to do something about that!

It will be a tremendous loss. The Motown Alumni Site is the most informative site about Motown in the whole world. I can't fathom it going away for one minute. We have to save it.
