This CD is supposed to be in a more quiet storm/jazz vein. With Mary's smoky alto it should be brilliant.

Mary's CD should be out by Fall as has already been mentioned. It will depend on whether she can get a major label deal or a deal with a smaller label and distributor. I talked to someone in Detroit who has heard the Holland Brothers cuts and says that they are good, and there are two cuts on the proposed album, one by Richard Davis and the other by the Holland Brothers that could be major dance hits if re-mixed by a major re-mixer (like Junior Vasquez). Whatever it is, I will be glad to hear it. It would be kick for Mary to have a major hit on her own.
