We here in NYC will miss the man who helped the Knicks become a powerhouse team.

Boy, do they need him now...

Rest well, Dave...

He was very special to me, especially since I live in New York. The team of Bradley, Frazier, Reed and DeBusschre made me a basketball fan.

A man who made history...one of the first two-sport athletes (he played pro baseball before his storied basketball career), the first player/coach in NBA history, star of two World Champion NBA teams ('70 and '73), Hall of Famer...

KevGo is right when he says that the Knicks could use DeBusschere now...my feeling is that the entire LEAGUE could use more players with the talent and class of DeBusschere! (emphasis on the word 'class')

Rest in Peace...

Best,

Mark

God Bless you Dave DeBusschere. You were a part of my growing up and I will always remember you and the fabulous New York Knicks from the
Golden Era of 1969-1972. You were one of a kind and we will miss you very much!
