Anyone famliar with "Here Come Da Judge"by The
Buena Vistas?Anyone know who the musicians were
it was produced by Mike Terry?It's mostly instrumental,with a couple of lines here & there
saying..Here Come Da Judge...or Very Interesting.
I had this 45,but wore it out,it was on the Marquee label.

I think it's Popcorn Wylie who says "Here Comes Da Judge."
I also think one of the guitrists was Joey Kingfish.
Doesn't this one pre-date Shorty Longs' song?

Check the archives - there's a thread about the
Buena Vistas and related groups.

Can't remember exactly when it was released but
it only predates Shorty Long's song by a matter of weeks. There were a lot of "Judge" records
in the spring of '68.
