Can anyone tell me anything about a group called
Friends.
They cut a single on the
UP Record Label
titled
'no you-no me'.
It could be a 70's label,I do not know,
this is what I have.
UP-1
No you-No me
Friends.
Gustwell Music BMI
arranged Wilson Williams/Willis Barnet
and written by
Wilson Williams/F Wilson Jnr.
Any info whatsoever is much appreciated.
thanks

Mel, it doesn't ring any bells off-hand but I'll see if I have anything on my database.
Wilson Williams - if it's the same guy - had an album on ABC in the mid-seventies. George McGregor
wrote / produced some of the album with the remainder of the album being produced by Wayne Henderson of the Crusaders. Those WH tracks were
probably recorded in LA.

Cheers Davie,
it looks 70s to me,

This is a tough one! The vinyl is for sale on some on-line shops. Wilson Williams -if it's the same person- was once a member of The Platters. I am interested because I like everything Frank Wilson has written or produced.
