"Motown Connoisseurs 2" is scheduled for some time next month, then there's 2CD sets from
Barbara Randolph and Barbara McNair in the
pipeline

I'd like to see that RicTic/Golden World CD
myself.

The Barbara McNair, Billy Eckstine, and Jimmy Ruffin sets are 2 cd's but the Barbara Randolph set will be a single cd from information that Harry Weinger has posted at MBB. He has also indicated that a 2 cd deluxe edition of Marvin Gaye's "I Want You" should be released sometime this summer.

personally i think junior walker and the allstars deserve a bigger showcase than the single disc 'greatest hits' that i have seen - perhaps there is one somewhere i don't know about

anybody else have any thoughts or information ?

'way back home' is in in my inspirational top three with the five stairsteps and sounds of blackness

There's a two CD box set of Junior Walker and the All Stars songs with an excellent booklet that came out around the mid nineties.

Jan - I found it on GEMM by doing a search, and located a seller with one in stock at a sensible price. You could give it a try:

The bbc RADIO 2 northern soul special just broadcast has played amongst other greats Eddie PArkers Love You Baby and Tony Michaels on Golden World.U.S. folks can listen to the Stuart Mconey spelling??? special via the net for the next few days .Check out the BBC RADIO 2 Website.I am not sure if this posting is actually appropiate to the original topic but I thought it would be of interest as the show played TONY MICHAELS Etc. and gives a very good insight into NOrthern Soul.
