The Pistons were down 3 games to 1 to Orlando and came back and won 3 straight.Pretty Awesome!!Going on now to meet Philly in the next round.Game 1 tomorrow.Hey Ralph,I was reading an article about the Detroit Red Wings saying they were just this unstoppable machine.A week later I looked in the sports section and saw they were eliminated just like that in round 1.What The Heck Happened?

Jean-Sebastien Giguere happened.

The Anaheim Mighty Ducks just knocked off Dallas last night and will be playing in the western conference finals, too. If the Ducks make it to the Stanley Cup Finals (which they very well could), it will be fun to see Don Cherry and the hardcore puckheads on CBC Windsor choking on the words "Mighty Ducks" when they try to say them. :)

Regards,
Ken

Caleb,
I haven't a clue about the Wings. Do these guys have a problem with play-offs?

Ken. I have my own choking problems. How would you like to get creamed by a team known as Mighty Ducks?

Pistons take game 1.They looked pretty good.I can definitely see them advancing to the conference finals.Thought when they traded Stackhouse they wouldn't be quite as good but it does not appear to have effected them that much.Richard Hamilton is a pretty nice player.Game 2 Thursday night.I'll be back with another report.Sleep tight Soulful Detroit.Caleb

Game 2 also goes to the Pistons.Rookie 1st round draft pick Prince came up big tonight tying the game and sending it into overtime, and then lighting it up in ot.Jon Barry was hitting that sweet 3 ball in the 2nd half.Game 3 on Saturday.I shall return.Good night Soulful Detroit.Caleb

Greetings Soulful Detroit!I am back with yet another report on Piston playoff basketball.Game 3 took place tonight and the sixers rose to the challenge. An early deficit was just too much for the pistons to overcome though they made a gallant effort in the 4th quarter. The pistons do have some different guns to throw at you.Chauncey Billups, their top scorer, has been out with an ankle sprain.Get him in there and it's over.Game 4 tomorrow night.See ya tomorrow.Caleb

Game 4 report:Allen Iverson was just too much.Man was lighting it up from all over.We now have a series as it's tied 2-2.Pistons need to regroup-still feel they can advance.I'll be back,in the words of Arnold S.,with the next games report.Caleb

Caleb, I must respectfully disagree ... the great ending was the Eric Snow three for the first lead of the game. It should have ended there, that would have been story-book.

TSOP will be heard tomorrow night indeed, by people all over the world ... its time to get down !!

Beautiful!!Pistons advance to eastern finals!!Billups is the real deal.Ben Wallace phenomenal!!Corliss Williamson coming off the bench-just too strong!!Too much for the sixers to handle.Sorry Rich, yes that would of been nice in game 6 after that 3 by Snow for them to win but it just didn't go their way. It's on to the Nets now for the Pistons.Game 1 Sunday Aft.Until then, bonapetite!!
