the top photo looks like Sonny Sanders with Robert Bateman not B.Gordy this photo may have been taken at United Sound about 12 years ago when the Satintones recorded the Motor City Record stuff. I don't think Gordy and Bateman have anywhere near each other in a long long time.

The chronology probably doesn't fit, but the second guy from the left in the bottom pic looks a lot like Morris Wasserman, who owned the Flame.
Any idea when the pic was taken?

The top photo has to be Berry Gordy, not Sonny.
I saw Sonny Sanders last year in Chicago and he had a full head of hair and a thinner face (like the photo in the Golden World webisodes only it's now gray).

I've sent Jim Ellis an email asking of the appx dates and places the pictures were taken. As soon as he responds, I'll post here. I also asked him to come back to the forum himself, as he did once. Perhaps if one of the head honchos here emails him directly and invites him aboard???????
Here is another:
Robert Bateman and Down Town Judy Brown

the second photo of Claudette, Robert and Berry was taken at the grand opening of the "Motown Sound" exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum,in Dearborn Michigan, in either 1994 or 1995.

Yeah, David Y, it was the grand opening of the interactive Motown exhibit built in partnership between Henry Ford Museum and Motown Historical Museum in May 1995.
That same day, Motown Museum opened its door for an exhibit that showed Gordy's 1959 upstairs refurbished apartment over Hitsville.
